Sometimes, there are times in life when we are tired. Rather, exhausted. Not just physically, but mentally. Drained and exhausted. You know you have reached your maximum level of stress handling capacity.
At such times, all you’re looking for is an escape from reality. Leave your daily life and routine and live somewhere peacefully. With no work stress, no responsibilities, absolutely nothing. Just you. Music, reading stay the best escape routes.
When I feel like escaping, I get lost in my own world, a world full of imagination. Look within myself. Search for the unexplored side of mine. Far from the anxious thoughts, yet trapped in deep thoughts. So deep into thinking like the world around me doesn’t exist. This escape from life helps to lead a better life. The thing about it is, you feel more comfortable in that “daydream” than your actual life. But reality hits hard. And soon, the dreams turn to a living nightmare.
Reality worked its way into my dreams where it wasn’t welcome.
