I wish I could go back in time
Way back in my childhood
Where I was unaware of the world full of crimes
Where everything seemed good.
Those were the good old days,
Before people were addicted to the money craze
Money was never a problem back then
As every need of ours was fulfilled by our parents
Now we’re here, reminiscing the memories
Of the time which was heavenly.
How we sneeked out cleverly
Just to run outside and play.
Those were the good old days.
Now I pity the human race
Everybody I see is running
Behind fame and money
Don’t know where this will lead
We’re confusing our needs with our greed.
Now all I want is
to go back in time to the good old days.
