Don’t Look Back

Time flew by as your puerile soul fooled around.

You fell a lot when you should have stood your ground.

It’s too late to regret, it’s too late to wonder.

Wonder how you could have been the lightning before the thunder.

Now, don’t look back in anger and doubt.

Look, you’ve come so far, be proud.

Don’t look back with regrets for the heedless fun

Look back at the lessons to learn.

Let your soul fan the flames.

The burning of your desires and aims.

You’ve got that fire in your eyes.

Don’t curb the desire to the skies.

Take a leap, fly and face the hit.

Your limit goes as high as your mind lets it.

Cut through the clouds.

Look, you’ve come so far, be proud.

Now, don’t look back in anger.

Don’t look back with regret.
